Halloween Pumpkin Time at the Sweet Shop

It’s that time of the year again,

Autumn is near

when you see pumpkins everywhere!

 Gorgeous handmade chocolate pumpkins from Saratoga Chocolates.  Of course they make a great display but I would prefer to eat such a lovely treat!  Can you imagine a dark chocolate pumpkin shell filled with pumpkin ice cream or your favorite dessert? 

Talk about presentation!

We still have plenty of Halloween candy for you...slimy worms, sour bats, snakes, little skulls, sour gummi brains & witches warts just to name a few!  For some extra special treats, we have some beautiful chocolate pumpkin lollipops, chocolate skeleton bars, chocolate bats, mummy & coffin rice crispy treats.

Speaking of Halloween…we will be open late on 10/31 for trick-or-treats and those that might need a warm drink while on the streets.   Monster Eyes Hot Chocolate, Ghoulish Hot Apple Cider, Pumpkin Lattes & Witches Brew!

Sweet Shop Recycles their Bottle Caps

For the last couple of years every time we pop open a drink for our customers we have saved your bottle cap. Not knowing what we would ever do with them.
At one of our celebrations we put some in a jar and had a guessing game to win a prize!

We still have endless bottle caps and of course acquire more every day! Thanks to our lovely Laura, she took the initiative to create something pretty cool with our caps…. Check out these lovely handmade photo frames now available at the shop. Makes a great gift & remember all proceeds will go to the schools!

Starting tomorrow, Friday, April 20th, we will be offering a couple of specials just on Fridays…either one is just $3.50!

On the extra sweet side we have our Waffle Sundae…a waffle cone bowl with your choice of frozen yogurt and two toppings!

Or if you need a little sweetness & a little afternoon pick me up, choose the Affogato…a hot double shot of our wonderful Verve Sermon Espresso served over Vanilla Frozen Yogurt.

Hard to decide which one is my favorite – both so delightful.

Spring is on the way...

Or is it summer?

Bulbs are sprouting and blossoms are falling...we have been having some lovely weather here in the bay area lately and are feeling Spring is near and filling the shop with new goodies!

Introducing handmade p.o.p. candy, all-natural butter crunch (imagine buttery toasty toffee without the corn syrup). Melts in your mouth, so yummy!
We have two of their wonderful flavors, Pecan Butter Crunch, just like a pecan pie and p.o.p. Mix which is a blend of almonds, pecans, pistachios, and cashews. Both flavors are gluten free too!

Believe it or not Easter is just around the corner so be sure to pick up some treats to fill your baskets or leave the work to us and order one of our custom baskets.

We will be open regular hours today and tomorrow (8:30am -5:30pm) but will be closing at 2pm on Saturday, December 24th.

The Sweet Shop will be closed for the Winter Break from December 25th to January 2nd.
